I’m very impressed with this solar outdoor camera set. The image quality is excellent looking crystal clear during the day and surprisingly good at nights .. the solar panel keeps it charge and it works perfectly without me worrying about taking it down to recharge .. setup was quick and straightforward and the app is user friendly, value for my money and it’s sturdy and gives me peace knowing it’s always watching over my home and it’s the perfect sizeThe videos are excellent quality, and the night vision works really well.I have these mounted on a vinyl sided house, it works absolutely perfect.The mounts on these are very nice and adjustable, so you can get any angle you need.I seem to have good internet connection and my furthest camera is probably at least 50 feet away.These also work on 2.4 or 5 GHZ internet, so that's nice to choose what is best for you.For the money, you can't beat these cameras, in fact, I think they are probably as nice as the other solar cameras on here costing 2 or 3 times more.I would recommend anybody to buy these cameras from the experience I have had with them.

For a 49.00 security system they work phenomenally. The view on them is spectacular i can see store sign a block from my door. The motion sensor is a bit tricky but quite loud. Figure out settings until you like them or leave them on when gone. The voice through is a bit static but works. The image is crystal clear and mounts in seconds. Battery or solar i cannot speak on i did charge them over night before mounting. After 2 hours they still show full charge. Ignore my amazon boxes lol I had a lot of deliveries yesterday. You will not regret these cameras. They are perfect for price. The materials are not best but again they are 49.00.

Cameras work great so far the visibility is good the battery life is good the lights could be a little brighter but it does light up to like 10 feet the speakers work good and loud just a heads up on the subscriptions there’s like 5 of them and they all offer different stuff but the best ones are only for 1 device and it’s like $12.99 so if you 2 cameras or more and you want that specific subscription it will cost you and if you get the cheaper subscriptions they will record literally everything and when cars pass by it always says “possible person” like it doesn’t recognize a car or people or packages unless you have the good subscription and will need to purchase the subscription for each camera you have just a heads up on that but other than that the cameras are nice easy set up and good quality for sure don’t feel like cheap material

I had similar solar cameras, but these have integrated solar panels onto the body of the camera. So there isn't an additional wire for a sleek look. Camera quality is great with clear videos. You can adjust the sensitivity of motions and omit private areas from surveillance. Overall, it has great functions since you can monitor all of the units in one viewing window on the app to monitor all your point of interest.The setup was as seamless as the other units. I’m going to paraphrase the manufacturing instructions. Download the app before doing anything with the camera. Supply power to the camera and wait a few seconds until the blue light blinks. Once the blue light blinks, reset the camera by holding the reset button to prepare it for pairing. You’ll hear a voice response when it's done successfully. Launch the app and navigate to the home screen on the top right corner. Tap "+" to add this specific camera to your monitoring list. You’ll see two tabs when you launch the "+" function; one tab is for, while the others are their sister companies. It’s handy and easy to identify which camera you’re using with those pictures.Upon selecting your camera, it’ll ask about your WiFi network log-in credentials. Then you’ll be prompted to put your phone in front of the camera for it to read the QR code that your phone will display. Wait for it to do its thing after you hear the voice response when it has been done successfully for a minute or two. When it is finished establishing a network, you can customize your camera’s settings and its name.

I purchased the four pack S1 camerasThere are instructions on how to set up the camera on your network included.I selected the camera type in the Wansview app for the battery S1.To set up the camera, I used the scan method to connect the camera to my network. It was easy. Just hold your smartphone up to the app and scan the QR code, then listen to the audio prompts from the camera as it tells you what's going on, then continue to follow instructions in the app.I put my own 128 gig memory SD card into the camera(s).The phone app can review live video or stored video using your phone app as well ason the SD card. I recommend getting a SD card.Also, if you want to view the cameras live on your computer you can use the pc app, Amazon show, or Fire TV.You can easily integrate with Alexa to do this. I use my Alexa fire TV to view the cameras on my big TV at any time.I mounted my cameras using the hardware provided and even a template to mount the base of the camera. I made sure they are getting sunlight as they are solar-powered. I do not need to use the charging cords once they are mounted. My cameras charge up using the sun each day to 100%, as you can check battery status in the smartphone app.There are several really nice features. You can have the spotlight turn on when motion is detected at night. You have the ability to hear what's going on as well as talk to whatever is near the camera. I like that you can go back and review what was recorded by date and time. You need to use the cloud service for the ability to save and recall the capture online. Or for free, put a sd card into each camera 128Gb max. You get notifications as well as 15 seconds of motion captured for free no matter what if you want even without the SD card.You can have the motion detection look for people as this will pick up a person and count that as motion however you can just report all motion detection and it will record this if you have a sd cord or the cloud service. You can adjust sensitivity of detection. I have several of the cameras and they all have very clear crisp pictures. The 2k video is very clear even at night. I love that you can adjust the camera to adapt at night to a color picture using the existing lights that are around your property, or the spot light built in, instead of seeing the picture in just in black and white. I bought the 4 pack and love them. I recommend these cameras as they use a battery and or USB C cable that comes with the cameras. They are solar so all you do is charge it once and solar does the rest with no cords at all. So far on cloudy days I have not seen any concern as the battery shows full all the time. The sensitivity can be adjusted as well as distance of detection. The Wi-Fi is 2.5 GHz only. The wansview app is very solid and has many features that also allow you to talk to the person if you want, as well as notify you of an alert. You can zoom in the picture to see closer and set the picture to full screen on your phone app. The echo show also lets you zoom in. The ability to set up each camera in about 5 minutes, a perfect picture, ability to see the cameras using the app on my pc to look at all the cameras at once is perfect. I recommend these cameras to anyone who wants security and just the ability to look at an area quickly when they get a notification.

I have installed a number of Outdoor cameras. But I ordered the 4 pack and amazed how has I went through the installation! 1) Configure each camera 2) go to installation location with Camera to ensure wifi and sun coverage! 3) Installed the mounting bracket! 4) checked video on phone 5) Done in 20 minutes! 6) letting it solar charge to ensure full operation! Great product

In short: solid value and stellar performance.These cameras are incredible. Over the years, I’ve tested a variety of outdoor setups across our property—everything from direct power to solar—but distance and reliability were always limiting factors. Solar options, in particular, never lived up to the promise. This set, though, completely changed my outlook.I’ve had zero complaints. The connectivity range is phenomenal—I’m pulling a signal from over 300 feet with no issues. That’s a first. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I 100% recommend them.I’m curious to see how they hold up over time, especially with our hot Texas summers and icy winter rain. I installed 128GB MicroSD cards in each of the eight cameras, giving full coverage across the property. Setup was a breeze, the price was right, and thanks to Amazon Prime, delivery was fast and easy.

I ordered these on prime day and they came in pretty fast. The quality is pretty surprising. They have audio which I did not realize when I purchased them, or I guess I maybe don’t remember. When looking at the footage through the App I was a little shocked to hear birds chirping on them.I will admit I did not install them but my husband had them up in no time with zero issues.We did charge them prior to installing as a precaution so I will have to update as to the solar charging that I’m sure many want these cameras for.The cost was super low for the immediately apparent quality, but we will see overtime how that plays out.Overall, so far so good!

I'm so glad I got this system. I have been wanting security cameras for a while but didn't want to spend a bunch, nor did I want to run power to any of them. I saw other reviews on these and was encouraged by the positive reviews. The hardest part of installing them was getting my ladder out of the garage. The package came with several mounting hole template stickers that I used to drill pilot holes with. Each mount is 4 easy screws (included). I downloaded the app, turned each camera on one at a time and followed the app which walked through the pairing of each one. Connecting then to the mounts was so easy - no tools needed. Ive had them up and running for a week now, cameras and the app work seamlessly together. Night / low light feature is extremely clear. From the app you have a siren feature, a talk feature, and a spotlight feature. The solar power is the icing on the cake. 24 hr a day coverage. It's so simple. I made a request to customer service for a PDF version of the user manual and I got it right away. Thanks, Yvette! 5 stars all the way!

I bought one of these solar powered cameras to try it out because I was tied of the hassle of cords everywhere outside and running cords into the house, and I have been pleasantly surprised by it. Installed it on the post in my driveway that receives son throughout the day. I live in the Southern United States so it gets in the triple digits here and the camera has held up to the heat and the violent thunderstorms we experience seasonally. The solar panel on the top and the battery in the camera are working well in tandem as the camera works 24-7 and hasn't died on me yet. The picture is very clear and in color. It connected easily to my Wi-Fi and was very easy to install. (I will say that you need to know how to turn on your 2.4 signal if you have fiberoptic before you are ready to install the camera. You can contact your ISP and they will tell you how to do it if you don't know.) The microphone and the speakers work very well. It has an app you can download on your phone. Through this app you can do a variety of things such as setting up the camera, speaking to someone through the camera and then in turn hear what they're saying in reply. You can also record footage and retrieve it from the cloud or download it to your phone.On the camera itself there's a slot for an SD card which I haven't used yet, but I'm assuming it would record to the SD card. I'm unsure of how often it would be overwritten, but I'm assuming it would be dependent upon the size capacity of the SD card itself. Maybe the manufacturer can answer that question for me.The only possible drawback is it probably needs to be in a sunny location or very near an outside outlet as it comes with a very short power cable with no box, so if you have areas around the outside of your space that are very shady you may need to get creative with where you hang it up if there's no sun due to a large tree or no wall plug nearby. I'm actually going to order another six of these and play around with the amount of and type of sun they receive depending on where I install them to see if I can put it under my tree to test i's functionality in a shady location or other areas where it may receive only morning or only afternoon sun. This is mostly going to be performed out of curiosity and an abundance of time.For the money, this camera is excellent and I would highly recommend it.

I wanted outdoor cameras that were battery powered, solar charging, allowed saving video to an SD card, and that did not require a subscription or in home listening device like Alexa. These cameras checked all the boxes, had a lot of good reviews and were on sale for a very good price.Other nice features are being able to listen and talk through the cameras, and the security light that can be turned on/off or set to auto for color video at night.Setup & installation was easy. The initial pairing of each camera with my wifi and phone was the only finicky thing. It worked best to be in the same room as the router. But it did take several attempts to get each camera to pair. There were two methods - the easiest one has a QR code on your phone display and then the camera tries to scan the code. I could not get the camera to scan it. The other method worked after a few tries. But once the cameras are paired, you don’t have to do it again.I installed the cameras outdoors and have had no connection issues with my wifi. After about 4 weeks of use, the cameras have worked flawlessly.I was concerned about the solar charging because it’s Dec/Jan in Ohio. We have had little sun with most days being cloudy, rainy or snowing. And I have my motion detection set to maximum distance, maximum sensitivity, and recording length also set to max. These are not the setting to use for best battery life, but despite all of this, the cameras have all remained at 100% charge! Each camera gets triggered a few times a day but it is not heavy use.As for video quality, I have not had any other cameras to compare, but the footage is clear and quite good IMO.Some have mentioned the lenses fogging up, but I have not had this issue. I’ll have to see how they do in the humid and hot summer.There are two things I think others might consider depending on their situation: First, the cameras have a field of view of 100 degrees. If you are mounting these in a tight space, that might not be a wide enough view for some people. Second, if you can not mount these in the open where the sun can hit the panel on top of the camera, you might want a different model with a separate solar panel that can be mounted in an open location.Overall I am very happy with the cameras and they are perfect for my needs.
